The past few weeks have exciting and draining. My Mom’s brothers came into town for an early birthday surprise. For over a year we kept the secret. She had no idea. We had a “Paris” themed birthday party for her. The tables were filled with flowers, candles, twinkle lights, pictures she had taken in France with my Dad, and much more. Very romantic!
M and I decided to go to Ojai after work on Wed. of course we made plans before we realized it would be during a heat wave. What do you do during a heat wave in Ojai? Go to Ojai Beverage Company for cold beers! Then we wondered downtown and realized everything closes at 5pm…small town life.
To end our little date we drove around Lake Casitas.
