Maureen Bates Photography has it’s first custom made logo! I have struggled for an embarrassingly amount of time to come up with a one that I even like let alone love. A lot goes into designing a business logo. What colors? What font? What am I trying to convey? What is Maureen Bates Photography’s story? That is only a short list of questions and things to consider when starting to design a logo. That is where Kayla, Owner of Kayla Romey Designs comes in! Kayla took me through the whole process and made painless. It was rather exciting to from conversations, to sketches, and then the final product.
Being a nature photography company, we decided on having a mountain range and tree. While discussing what type of mountain style, Kayla suggested using the coastline of Ventura County, CA. I loved the idea but we changed it to the western coastline of the state of New Jersey (my home state). To integrate my current home state we decided to use the California state tree, the Redwood. Kayla did her amazing magic and you have Maureen Bates Photography’s new logo!!
