Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

After a rather early drive to and from the airport, all I wanted was a huge cup of coffee and homemade bread.  This easy pumpkin chocolate chip bread hit the spot. Perfectly full of taste, moist consistency, and hearty. I hope you enjoy!

Serving :: 1 Loaf       Prep Time :: 15 Minutes    Cook Time :: 60 Minutes

Ingredients ::

1 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 3/4 all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 ground ginger

3/4cup pumpkin puree

1 pinch allspice

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil

1/3 cup water

1 teaspoon vanilla

optional :: chocolate chips :: as many as your heart desires

Instructions ::

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter and dust with flour a 9×5 loaf pan, set aside.
  2. Whisk together sugars, flour, spices, baking soda, and salt in large bowl.
  3. In same bowl, add pumpkin, eggs, oil, water, and vanilla. Whisk until batter is smooth and clump free. Don’t Over Mix. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for 55-65minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Then cool on a rack until ready to serve.
